Are you looking for a special way to celebrate your birthday? We have a few suggestions for you!

Equipped with our rucksacks or Museum Boxes, you and your friends can take an exciting tour of discovery.

Or you can simply invite your friends on a visit to one of our museums! We would be happy to plan a tour together with you and organise fun activities for you and your friends.

Please make sure to register in advance at Visitor Information.

Please note: The cost of the tour does not include entrance fees. Admission for children under 16 is free.

A Journey through Goethe’s Life

Let’s travel 250 years back in time to experience Goethe’s life and works first-hand! You can look forward to fascinating stories about his childhood home in Frankfurt, his life in Weimar and his numerous trips. On your tour of the exhibition, you’ll be able to compare various everyday items with those that people used around 1800.

Open the Gates - The Dukes Will Receive You Now!

On this tour of Belvedere Castle, not only will you become familiar with the ducal summer residence, but also courtly and dining culture of the Goethe era. After the tour, we shall feast like kings!

A Princely Entrance

On this tour of the Wittumspalais we take a closer look at the portraits of the ducal family. After that you can try out various costumes and accessories and make your own “princely entrance” in this historical setting.
