Weimar Classic Challenge for groups in Weimar+ app

If you are a teacher or group leader interested in registering your class/group for the Weimar Classic Challenge, click here.

  1. If you wish to accompany multiple classes/groups on the scavenger hunt, we recommend registering each class individually. This will prevent the participants’ solutions from being revealed to everyone after one group has finished. You can register multiple groups by re-clicking the same link.
  2. Each group requires its own name, which you will be asked to enter on the registration page (e.g. name of your school + class), along with the starting time and your email address. As soon as you have registered to participate in the Weimar Classic Challenge, you will promptly receive a code and URL, as well as email confirmation.
  3. Share the newly generated code with your students on the day of your visit. The participants should then enter the code in the Weimar+ app under Theme-based tours> Classic Challenge> Start the Challenge (group mode). We recommend that students divide into groups of four and share one device to complete the Weimar Classic Challenge. Everyone receives the same code in the beginning and then gives themselves a mini group name.
  4. The newly generated URL takes you to the scoreboard panel where you can view all the answers entered by the participating mini groups (as soon as they have clicked “upload” during or upon completion of the Challenge), and how many tasks (in %) the mini groups have already completed. If you wish, you may use the panel in class to evaluate their answers in greater depth. You will also find all the solutions as a PDF file which you can access via the scoreboard panel. You may also delete groups from the app at any time and close the entire game upon completion.
