Projects of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Free State of Thuringia, represented by the State Chancellery of Thuringia, Department of Culture and the Arts.
Discover – learn – explore. Weimar is a place of learning that offers visitors numerous opportunities for project-oriented, self-determined discovery and experience.
Museums, historical parks, archives, libraries and poets’ residences serve as the starting point for learning about a wide range of topics. Our programmes and events focus on how these topics relate to the lives of children and young people.
Our programmes are not only tailored to preschool and primary school children, but also students in secondary school and university.
Please note: Thuringian schools can apply for funding for excursions to extracurricular places of learning in Thuringia. For more information and the respective funding application form, visit the website of the Thuringian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports: www.tmbjs.de/lernort
