Websites and apps

In the following, we present websites and apps created in our projects which can be used for preparing and following up a visit to Weimar. You can find additional media-based materials in our service area.

Bauhaus+ app

With the new Bauhaus+ app you can explore the Bauhaus Museum, the Neues Museum Weimar and the Haus Am Horn. With audio tours through the exhibitions, information on events and numerous additional features, the Bauhaus+ app allows you to discover Weimar modernism on your own. We recommend downloading the app prior to your visit.

You can download the Bauhaus+ app here.

Youpedia.de

The educational programme “Youpedia” is a project designed by young people for young people. Participants provide new information and creative products which can be located via a city map of Weimar. To view and learn more about its projects, visit youpedia.de.

Weimarpedia Kids

The website www.weimarpedia-kids.de was developed by the Klassik Stiftung Weimar especially for children ages 8 to 12.

It enables children to playfully discover Weimar’s cultural heritage. Historical figures of the same age take the children to the famous classical sites of Weimar and show them what life in Weimar was like during the Goethe era.

The website is supported and sponsored by the German Federal Commissioner for Culture and the Media, and the project Ein Netz für Kinder.
