This page provides general information on admission tickets and concessions offered by our museums. You will find the opening hours and admission fees under the respective institutions and in the document »The Foundation’s institutions: opening hours and prices« (see Download).
Admission tickets and special arrangements
Individual visitors can buy admission tickets directly at the box offices of the respective museums. Early reservation is recommended for groups of 10 or more (see Group bookings).
Please note that admission tickets cannot be returned or exchanged after purchase.
Annual ticket
Validity
- 12 months
- For all museums, exhibitions and special exhibitions, public guided tours, museum talks
Price
- Adults 49,00 Euro / concessions 29,00 Euro / Annual partner ticket (2 people) 79,00 Euro / Pupils* 19,00 Euro
Notese
- Available at the Foundation’s information stand in Weimar’s tourist information centre
- Annual tickets are non-transferrable
- Annual tickets do not guarantee admission to the Goethe Residence and the Duchess Anna Amalia Library. As space is limited in the Duchess Anna Amalia Library, we recommend making a reservation in advance at no charge.
- Annual ticket holders receive regular information on the Klassik Stiftung Weimar’s events programme
- * Price for pupils: Besides the regular purchase by individuals, schools can buy annual tickets for classes, which entitle groups of pupils to visit the sites and museums of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar for 12 months (provided advance notice is given). The tickets are transferrable to different classes within each school, but not to other groups outside school jurisdiction.

WeimarCard
Validity
- Free entrance to Ducal Vault, Goethe Gartenhaus, Goethe National Museum, Haus Hohe Pappeln, Liszt Haus, Nietzsche Archive, Park Cave, Roman House, Schiller Residence, Belvedere Castle,
Tiefurt Mansion, Wieland Estate in Ossmannstedt and Wittumspalais. WeimarCard is not valid for other museums.

People eligible for concessions
Concessions will be granted to the following on presenting corresponding identification:
- Students aged up to 27 (does not apply to students on distance learning courses)
- Severely disabled
- People performing military service or community service in lieu
- Trainees
- Unemployed

- For pupils aged between 16 and 20 (grades 11-13 / university matriculation certificate, also in special subjects); not valid for other educational routes.

Annual tickets for schools
Validity
- Schools can purchase annual tickets for classes, which entitle groups of pupils to visit the sites and museums of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar for 12 months (provided advance notice is given). The tickets are transferrable to different classes within each school, but not to other groups outside school jurisdiction.
Price
- 19 euros per annual ticket for pupils
Please note:
- Tickets are available at the Klassik Stiftung info stand at the Tourist Information Office in Weimar.
- Annual tickets do not guarantee admission to the Goethe Residence and the Duchess Anna Amalia Library. As space is limited in the Duchess Anna Amalia Library, we recommend making a reservation in advance at no charge.
- Holders of annual tickets receive programme information from the KSW on a regular basis.

Weimar-Pass
- Weimar Pass holders can obtain admission to all museums, exhibitions, special exhibitions, special guided tours and selected events at a preferential price of just 1 Euro.
