Fire protection updates and redesign of the training facilities
The Wieland Estate in Ossmannstedt now offers a high-quality, modernised atmosphere for educational events of all kinds with individually designed rooms and comfortable common rooms. The new design respects the historic character of the building and harmonises well with the overall ambience.
The measures made it necessary to update the fire protection concept and modify the conditions of usage. In the past, the furnishings of the Wieland Estate had always catered to youth education formats. In recent years, however, the training facility has been increasingly used for adult education projects in cooperation with the Jena-Weimar Academy. The interior furnishings no longer fulfilled the current requirements or standards, and therefore, had to be refurbished.
