Seminar im Snapshot-Projekt

Snapshot

Snapshot is an educational programme which examines contemporary political and social issues in connection with the history of Weimar Classicism and Buchenwald. The starting point and recurring theme of the six-day programme is the reflection on one’s personal image of mankind. The project has been carried out with established partner schools in Belgium, German and Italy for years.

The programme is jointly organised by the European Youth Education and Meeting Centre Weimar (EJBW) and the Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation and was originally developed as part of the project “Democracy Laboratory – Weimar 2009/2010“. It was sponsored by the Federal Agency for Civil Education.

Projects of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Free State of Thuringia, represented by the State Chancellery of Thuringia, Department of Culture and the Arts.
