Projects of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Free State of Thuringia, represented by the State Chancellery of Thuringia, Department of Culture and the Arts.
The European Social Fund (ESF) came into being with the foundation of the European Economic Community in 1957. Since that time, it has been creating workplaces, providing support by means of education and skills training and helping to reduce discrimination on the job market. The European Union aims to give everyone a career perspective. To this end, every member state and every region develops its own strategy as part of an operational program. This is the best way to do justice to local demands.
