Projects of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Free State of Thuringia, represented by the State Chancellery of Thuringia, Department of Culture and the Arts.
The following terms and conditions apply to all activities and operations at the Klassik Stiftung Weimar. The terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between the customer and the Klassik Stiftung Weimar. The customer agrees to these terms upon placing the order.
1.1 The offers in the ticket shop do not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to submit an offer. With his offer in the ticket shop of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar, the customer agrees to the General Terms and Conditions of KSW. The contract comes about through the acceptance of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar.
1.2 Payment is made in advance by the customer using one of the payment methods offered online. Fees may be charged for certain payment methods. The technical processing for the above payment method is carried out by Adyen.
1.3 After receipt of the payment, the customer will receive a confirmation email with the purchased tickets as Print at Home tickets in PDF file format. The confirmations and print at home tickets are sent to the email address provided by the customer at the risk of the customer. There will be no replacement.
1.4 Admission is only granted upon presentation of a valid ticket as a printout or on a smartphone/tablet. The validity of the tickets is limited to the specified day and, in the case of time slot tickets, to the specified time slot. Tickets lose their validity after leaving the museum or after they have been validated.
2.1 The prices agreed upon conclusion of the contract shall apply.
2.2 The reduced and free tickets for museums and events are only valid together with the corresponding proof.
3.1 The booking is binding with regard to the date and agreed services.
3.2 The visit - especially in the Duchess Anna Amalia Library - can only be guaranteed at the agreed time. In the event of late arrival, the customer's claim to the booked services expires. Access to the houses can then only be guaranteed within the framework of the available ticket contingent and only for independent viewing.
3.3 There is no entitlement to the exchange or return of tickets. There is no right of withdrawal, as this is a contract for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities and a specific date or period is provided for the provision, § 312g Paragraph 2 Item 9 BGB. If the Klassik Stiftung Weimar agrees to a cancellation, it will withhold the amount of EUR 3.00 per order to cover the expenses involved
3.4 The Klassik Stiftung Weimar is entitled to withdraw from the contract for important reasons. An important reason is to be assumed in particular if the closure or partial closure of houses, objects or parks is necessary for traffic safety, to protect monuments or due to special events. In the event of such a withdrawal, the visitor will be reimbursed for payments already made. Any further claims for damages are excluded.
3.5 If an event is canceled or aborted within the first 30 minutes, payments already made will be refunded. Any further claims for damages are excluded.
Liability on the part of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar for slightly negligent breaches of duty is excluded. Excluded from this are violations of essential contractual obligations and damage resulting from injury to life, limb or health caused by the Klassik Stiftung, its legal representatives or its vicarious agents.
5.1 If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of performance and exclusive place of jurisdiction is Weimar.
5.2 Deviations from the General Terms and Conditions can only be made by written agreement. Deviating terms and conditions of the customer are expressly contradicted.
