A Journey through Goethe’s Life

Who exactly was Goethe? And why does everything revolve around him in Weimar? This children’s tour of the Goethe exhibition “Flood of Life – Storm of Deeds” presents the various stages in the life of this famous poet, scientist and politician.

A Princely Entrance

In this interactive tour, children are introduced to important protagonists of Anna Amalia’s time and study how people presented themselves in their portraits. Afterwards, they assume various roles in a costume workshop and playfully stage their own living portraits.
