Arrival

By car

Ossmannstedt is about 15 minutes away by car from the A4 autobahn. After you exit the A4 at the Apolda junction, follow the highway B 87 toward Apolda until shortly after Schwabsdorf where you take a left in the direction of Ossmannstedt. After passing the town sign, you will find the Wieland Estate about 100 m further on the right-hand side. Parking is available in front of the manor.

By train

Ossmannstedt is located on the Erfurt–Halle–Leipzig train line between Weimar and Apolda and is only five minutes away from the main train station in Weimar. Regional trains come every hour. The Wieland Estate can be reached from the Ossmannstedt train station within eight minutes on foot.

 

Bedding and hand towels

Bedding is included in the price of overnight accommodation. Please bring your own hand towels.

Meals

Cold buffets are offered to guests at breakfast and dinner. Vegetarian options are always provided. We are happy to accommodate guests who wish to eat vegan or have food allergies. Simply notify us of your wishes in advance.

Recreation

The library at the Wieland Estate contains an extensive collection of literature on the history of Weimar. A table tennis table can be set up in the inner courtyard, and visitors can borrow a variety of popular board games. There is public outdoor swimming pool in the immediate vicinity, and the estate park is perfect for jogging and taking walks. Just a couple of minutes in walking distance, you can find an outdoor swimming pool, which allows cooling during the summer months.

Shopping

There are no shopping possibilities in Ossmannstedt. There is, however, a refrigerator on the top floor which all guests can use for storing food and beverages purchased elsewhere.
