Projects of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Free State of Thuringia, represented by the State Chancellery of Thuringia, Department of Culture and the Arts.
Digital technology has become an integral part of culture and naturally complements analogue cultural assets. But what does that actually mean?
The Klassik Stiftung Weimar offers digital services that connect physical locations in Weimar to the Internet and transform them into a place of encounter on the World Wide Web. As part of the foundation's digital transformation, numerous projects, including digital and analogue formats, will be developed and tested until 2027. These will be linked via a web-based platform currently under construction. The digital services will offer you the opportunity to become acquainted with numerous topics and participate in current debates. In the coming years, we will be developing additional services, staging experiments and offering new creative approaches.
Until then, we invite you to learn more about the digitalisation efforts at the Klassik Stiftung Weimar. Digitalisation is taking place at multiple levels of our organisation. From the digitisation of our cultural assets to online educational activities, all our departments are involved in the integrative process of transformation.
