The Database Infosystem DBIS

The Database Infosystem DBIS helps you navigate through the jungle of Internet databases. DBIS offers users the following advantages:

• selection of over 10,000 databases, 5,000 of which are freely accessible online
• divided into subject areas
• possible to search for specific databases
• professional cooperative service of scientific libraries

The databases which are licensed by the Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek can be accessed via the intranet of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar, for example, in the Study Centre. These databases are listed on the Database Infosystem DBIS and our own online catalogue. A link on each description page directs you to the respective database.
