Services for persons with learning difficulties or mental disabilities
Audio guides in simple language are available at the Schiller Residence and Castle Museum (currently closed) at the ticket counter (German only). Simple language audio tours for the Bauhaus-Museum Weimar, the Neues Museum Weimar, Nietzsche-Archiv, Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek and the Haus Am Horn are in the available at the Weimar+ App.
Tours in simple language can be provided upon request. We would be happy to put together an individual programme with you for persons with learning disabilities and/or mental disabilities.
As part of our activity-oriented museum education programme, we have prepared rucksacks filled with interesting materials, exercises and stories to accompany you on a two-hour tour of discovery through Weimar and its parks (German only). Our staff would be happy to accompany these activities upon request.
