We have various tasks.

For example:

We take care of museums, castles, parks and gardens.

We organise exhibitions.

We make sure that many people can visit the museums.

For example, people with visual impairments.

We collect artworks and information on artists.

We renovate old buildings and look after old books.

We do research.

That means:

We try to find out new things

about the artists, their work and life in the past.

We get money for our work.

The money comes from the state,

from the state of Thuringia and from the city of Weimar.
