Ticket shop

The ticket shop of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar is an online booking system. In addition to booking tickets to the museum of your choice at the time you desire, you can also prebook tours and events. Please note that online tickets can occasionally be sold out. In such cases, a contingent of additional tickets is available for purchase at the museum ticket counters.

We only offer time-slot tickets for admission to the Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek, the Bauhaus Museum, the Museum Neues Weimar, the Haus Am Horn, the Goethe National Museum, the Goethe Gartenhaus and the Schiller Museum with special exhibitions. Time-slot tickets can be booked three months in advance. You may purchase tickets for other historical sites and museums directly from the ticket counters on location. Additional tickets for all other museums are available up to three days in advance at the respective location and all other museum ticket counters, as well as the Tourist Information Office at the marketplace. The online ticket shop only offers a limited number of the total available tickets.

We recommend purchasing your tickets to the Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek in advance via the online ticket shop. If any remaining tickets are available on a certain day, individual visitors may purchase them from the ticket counter at the Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek starting at 9:30 am. Please bear in mind that because of the high demand, these tickets are quickly sold out or are sometimes not even available. Groups (max. 15 persons) may only gain admission with prior registration.
