We invite you to relax in the lounge area designed in the Bauhaus style – or on our spacious terrace in nice weather – and enjoy hot and cold beverages and a variety of seasonal cuisine served fresh every day.

After you have visited the stunning Rococo Hall or the Weimar Adventure Portal, take a few minutes to relax in the Reading Café at the Study Centre. The café is the perfect place to take a short break with a cup of coffee. You will also find a large selection of snacks and beverages to recharge your batteries or clear your head after hours of research in the Study Centre of the Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek.

On the last weekend of the month, the doors of the Palais Bar open during the season. We await you with freshly brewed coffee and fragrant cake and invite you to relax in the beautiful courtyard at the Wittumspalais. The temporary offer is designed by employees of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar. They look forward to talking to you and giving personal recommendations for visiting Weimar.
Opening hours: 31th of August, on the occasion of the guided sound tours in the Wittumspalais | 11.30 -17.30 hrs.

The Ettersburg Castle restaurant offers visitors a broad selection of choice meals for every season of the year. In the winter, guests can warm up in our cosy indoor dining room, or on warmer days, enjoy the splendid view of the park from the outdoor terrace. From there, visitors can explore the park grounds at their leisure.
