In the theme year "Living" 2023, the Klassik Stiftung Weimar focuses on living. Political, controversial, contentious and indispensable, housing is examined from all sides. Turned inside out, it hovers thematically above the highlights of the year.

The exhibition "Wege nach Utopia" (Paths to Utopia) at the Bauhaus Museum Weimar addresses this question with installations, photographs, living objects and much more. The Hohe Pappeln house invites visitors to try out Henry van de Velde's sofa, the language laboratory in front of the city palace becomes a living laboratory and the photo project "Wie Weimar wohnt" (How Weimar lives) takes a look behind the doors of Weimar flats.
