Rallies and excursions

The rallies and excursions take participants to the most important places in Weimar and at the same time provide an overview of significant topics in cultural history. With the Classic-Rally, young people independently explore places associated with Weimar Classicism, gain an overview, and solve small tasks and puzzles at the individual stations, which can then be evaluated together. The excursions offer various themed tours through the city. They introduce selected places, people, and historical events and examine their special significance in the context of art and cultural history.

City rally

The card set provides an initial insight into the history of the city of Weimar and its various eras. After an introduction by the accompanying teacher, the pupils choose different topics in working groups (approx. five people each) and explore lesser-known historical sites in Weimar. Finally, the results can be evaluated as a class.

The materials are suitable for pupils from Year 8 onwards. They are available in German and English. To use them, download them or borrow the set from us on site!
