Oscar Murillo’s SOCIAL MAPPING is headed to Weimar and you can be part of it: After stops in many locations around the world—including Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Jakarta (Indonesia), La Paila (Colombia), Limbe (Cameroon), London (United Kingdom), Manila (Philippines), Marrakesh (Morocco), Mexico City (Mexico), New York (USA), São Paulo (Brazil) - it’s now Weimar’s turn to get creative during a collaborative drawing session on a 12-meter-long canvas.
We invite you and your loved ones to draw on a blank canvas using pencils and pens. At the end of the session, the canvas will be collected and sent to Potsdam, where they will be displayed alongside other canvases from around the world in Oscar Murillo’s exhibition “Collective Osmosis” at DAS MINSK. Museum visitors are invited to continue painting on these canvases, thereby bringing together many voices.
Participation in this event is free, and participants of all ages are welcome. All canvases and art supplies will be provided.
