  • Reading room with 32 work stations
  • Reading areas with more than 100 work stations
  • Free access to encrypted WiFi network
  • Terminals with access to databases and Internet at 30 work stations
  • 6 working and reading carrels equipped with PCs. Please register in advance to use a carrel. Submit the completed registration form (PDF, 198 KB) to haab.lesesaal@klassik-stiftung.de. Please read the rules for carrel usage (PDF, 397 KB).
  • Stereo systems with record player, cassette player, CD player and headphones
  • 2 book scanners for users (USB stick required)
  • 1 microfilm and microfiche scanner (with USB connection)
  • 2 microfilm, microfiche and rollfilm readers
  • 2 coin-operated copiers for making B/W copies
  • 3 work stations for the blind and visually impaired, equipped with a scanner (DIN A4), voice output, enlargement software, braille strip, video camera and monitor, as well as magnification and positive-negative rendering options. Please speak with our staff prior to your first visit.
