Yiddish Summer Weimar - Lomir … celebrating a birthday!

An event organized by Yiddish Summer Weimar

Workshops on Yiddish language and music

Yiddish Summer Weimar celebrates its 25th anniversary and ends the season with a big birthday party in the middle of the city. In addition to the Reithaus and the musical offerings there, the Co-Labor offers the best atmosphere for a relaxed, uncomplicated get-together and a (perhaps first?) contact with the Yiddish language: In short, free workshops, YSW artists and teachers will take time for you. It will be about Yiddish poetry, what it's like to be a musician in our scene and, of course, enough time for your very first taste of the Yiddish language. And you can pick up a pen yourself and put Yiddish imagery on paper: from traditional synagogue ornaments to the dynamism of modernist works. What exactly is that? Well, you'll just have to come by. :) You can find more information about us and our program on Instagram, Facebook or the website www.yiddishsummer.eu

Bauhaus and politics
