On 18 May 2025 – International Museum Day – we want to draw attention to our museums and invite you to discover them – either the old-fashioned way with a visit to Weimar or using our many digital services available from the comfort of your home.
On this special day, events highlight the museum landscape in Germany and around the world. In Weimar, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the cultural diversity of our museums all day long on Sunday, 18 May 2025.
International Museum Day in Germany is coordinated by the German Museum Association in close cooperation with state, regional, municipal and local museum associations and cultural offices. The Museum Day programme is funded by ICOM Germany.
