The Klassik Stiftung Weimar's facilities have seasonal opening and closing times. The reasons for the seasonal operating and closing times lie in the substance of the buildings. Most of the museums are historic residential buildings. As the individual rooms only have limited electric lighting for museum and conservation reasons, some houses are closed in the winter season
