Projects of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Free State of Thuringia, represented by the State Chancellery of Thuringia, Department of Culture and the Arts.

To celebrate Goethe's 277th birthday, his garden on Frauenplan invites guests of all ages to come and relax.
Let yourself be enchanted by the splendor of the flowers in Goethe’s garden and enjoy a refreshing drink in a relaxed atmosphere. Your tour will be accompanied by musical interludes featuring Enrique Rodrigues (violin) and Christopher Sandberg (viola), both students at the FRANZ LISZT University of Music in Weimar.
4:00–7:00 p.m. | Activities for Families
Of course, no real birthday party is complete without plenty of games, fun, and creativity: At the “Bag Printing Behind the Scenes” workshop, you can design your own bags using brushes and paints. And if you’d like to make your own flower crown for this historic summer day, “Flower Crowns” offers flower-arranging assistance with Flo-Art. Seasonal flowers, grasses, and ribbons are available to choose from. Stop by and join in!
Be sure to visit our photo station and take home a lasting memory.
