Co-Labor becomes part of the City Palace

Last day at the wooden pavilion

After six wonderful years, we cordially invite you to join us for our final late-summer afternoon at the wooden pavilion in front of the City Palace. We’d like to enjoy this special place of exchange, connection, learning, and celebration with you one last time.  

In addition to the regular activities, such as the “Zimmer frei!” station, the ping-pong table, and the game box, you’ll have the opportunity on this day to share your wishes and expectations for the castle at the “Das wünsche ich mir fürs Schloss” textile “MachMit!” station, thereby bringing your thoughts and ideas for the future of the Co-Lab to life.

What’s next?

For us, the Co-Labor is more than just a wooden pavilion. It embodies the principle of openness and participation in activities and the event program, and demonstrates that Weimar’s culture is vibrant, diverse, and colorful. This principle is now extending into the City Palace, and we invite everyone to help shape the new Schlossforum over the next few years.
The wooden pavilion will be dismantled in early November. Some of the materials will be temporarily stored and, starting in late March 2027, reused as a small stage and gathering place in the courtyard of the City Palace.
