International volunteers support the work of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar | Presentation panel highlighting the various projects in English

Every year several hundred young landmark preservationists and students of various disciplines from around the world participate in the “European Heritage Volunteers” networking programme, dedicated to safeguarding important sites of cultural heritage across the European continent. These international volunteers have been learning, working and applying their cultural knowledge to the parks and gardens of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar under professional supervision since 2012. The participants’ presentations on the World Heritage Sites in their home countries are an important component of the project.

The European Heritage Volunteers project was a recent recipient of the European Heritage Award in the category “Education, Training and Skills".
